Ayurveda – the 'Science of Life'

Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga and the ancient traditional medical system from India that utilises opposite qualities to bring the body/mind back into balance.  It offers a mind-body-spirit preventative approach to promoting radiant health.

By understanding the body/mind as a self-healing system, Ayurveda promotes life-long therapeutic and self-care practices that can be incorporated into daily routines.

A Powerful Holistic System that Guides us in the Art of Living Wisely

From an Ayurvedic perspective we are never broken – we have become disconnected from our natural wholesome rhythms.  Our bodies hold the innate wisdom to bring ourselves back into balance.

Ayurveda teaches us how to live life on a moment to moment basis that is in harmony with our individual nature and Mother Nature, a way of living with wisdom and ease.

Ayurveda treats each person as unique.  It takes into consideration all aspects of a person’s diet and lifestyle and the effects these have on their well-being.

What people say about working with me...

‘I was desperate to improve my health and felt as though I’d run out of options. Western medicine didn’t seem to be able to help me. I was constantly exhausted, unable to cope with my workload and diagnosed with a number of viruses.

For many years I had followed a 75% raw diet which had worked very well for me, now it wasn’t. After Wendy assessed me and guided me in Ayurvedic wisdom, nutrition and herbs, I was initially a bit resistant to a very different way of eating. Once I attended a cooking session with her, understood how to prepare my meals and was armed with some easy to prepare and tasty recipes, I enjoyed my food and my health slowly but surely improved in leaps and bounds. Another plus is I’m probably eating more food than I used to but I’ve lost weight!

Thank you Wendy for sharing this wisdom and healing science with me.’
