Mindful Yoga

Moving Back into an Embodied State of Well-Being

A chance to slow down, soften and turn inwards away from the busy world of ‘doing’ into the inner world of ‘feeling and being’.

These classes invite slow and mindful movements that awaken body wisdom and an inner attitude of kindness and compassion.

From movement to stillness and from sound to silence, Hatha yoga prepares the body-mind for deeper states of relaxation and meditation.

This becomes a stable platform to build your life upon – bringing greater wisdom, sensitivity, well-being and harmony to your life.

1:1 Yoga Therapy

Regular yoga practice empowers you to take a conscious and active role in your healing and wellbeing – medicine through movement!

I tailor yoga practices to suit your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs and have experience working with a wide range of physical, psychological and spiritual challenges.

Yoga therapy is also helpful in rehabilitation during and after serious illness such as cancer, stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain damage and recovery from surgery as well as for any sporting or motor vehicle injuries.

"Moving with awareness awakens you to the vibrancy of life so that you know through experience the union of everything: the whole of existence is one energy."

“Move your joints every day. You have to find your own tricks. Bury your mind deep in your heart, and feel the body move by itself.”

What people say about working with me...

"I signed up with Wendy for yoga classes at home. Once she had said she was moving overseas, I made the transition to WhatsApp and Zoom classes and my classes continue. What can I say other than I look forward to my class each week.

She has an intuition, gentleness and strength, an enormous bank of experience, and a genuine investment and care. I think that she is one in a million. I have tried other online classes, only to feel the old injuries playing up.

Perhaps there is something about her ability to intuit a body, the extent of her studies over the years and her own practice that set her apart. I don't know what it is to be honest, all I do know is that I'm so grateful to that friend who persuaded me to give it a try and to meet her. I think Wendy has a gift."

‘"After years of chronic illness, including a brain tumor which ultimately resulted in surgery I was at an all time low in terms of my health. This was when I met Wendy.

Wendy helped to transform my wellbeing over the next few years. Her holistic and therapeutic approach to my yoga therapy sessions combined with her uncanny ability to understand the issues afflicting my body and mind helped restore me to health. I thoroughly recommend her for anyone seeking to take their overall wellbeing to its maximum potential."
